I am not one of those people who manages to 'hit the pan' when it comes to my make-up. It's a bad thing I know, but I love buying and trying out new things! Now, eye brow gel doesn't apply, I have had the same pot from the brand called FREEDOM which I don't know if they even exist anymore, but it officially went in the bin last week, and it was a sad day. It lasted me a good few years, so more than likely it was out of date. It still managed to preform every day.

I popped in to my local Superdrug and this is the first one I came across, so I have given it a chance.

I was hoping to spend around £5-£10 as I wasn't looking for anything high end due to my financial situation. If you didn't know.. I am in the process of moving house on Wednesday so I'm saving all my pennies for cutlery, pans, a sofa etc. There are just slightly more important things to me now than my brows.

This will cost you £6.50 in Superdrug and it's a pretty reasonable price, and the product seems good for the price too.

So, the packaging ...

Now, I really like the packaging!

I wasn't sure whether it's worth mentioning this in a review but it's something I found felt really high end. The pot is made out of glass but with a matt finish, so it seems like a lot of thought has gone in to the design, which makes it feel a lot more luxurious than it is.

Hmmm, the consistency?

This is where the product fell down for me, when you glide your brush along the product in the pot it seems very light, not very tacky and you need a fair few applications. That's fine, as it may be something that works for you but personally I like a darker / heavier brow.

I will say though the formula is very creamy so it's easy to spread through-out your eye brow, and is extremely easy to blend in leave you with a natural look.

I think £6.50 is quite a lot for a lightweight brow product.

Lasting power

This really does last all day which is great, you don't have to worry about 'touching up' your eye brows, or fearing the wear down of your arches. They will be safe.

Thanks for reading!

Let me know if you have any recommendations for brow products?

Studying at Open University | Part 1 : Getting started

I started studying W101 which is the first module towards a Law Degree at the Open University at the start of October. I started early, I am about a week ahead as I haven't studied in about 6 years and I am also moving house around this time so I didn't want to fall behind.

Behind the blog | Random facts about me

I feel like I've got a few posts but you don't really know anything about me, so whats better than 50 random questions!

Here we go...

I was going start with my own little welcome :

"I am 25 years old, I live in Bristol (and love it) with my boyfriend, dog and guinea pig. I am working full time and studying a Law degree part time. I drive a little Ford KA and winter is my favourite season. That's the basics of me. Oh I also don't want to show my face on my blog, I blogged a few years ago for years and years and I feel I shared too much, I experienced bullying in the beauty community and I'm not down for that. I'm here to have a good time and share my passions!"

How I keep my hair healthy

My sister is a hair dresser and she gave my dead ends the chop last week, but before she did she mentioned to me that my hair really soft, and silky. I've never been one to have good hair, it's always been badly dyed, or badly cut (by myself) but the last year or so I've really taken care of it.

When we visited Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of my favourite places I have travelled too, with Greece coming in second. It was so easy and stress free to get to, the flight was less than an hour and we only spent two nights in the city, but I am eager to go back! I want to explore more of the food and the culture.
